Mediating at the South Pole
I posted a while back about how a mediation venue can set the tone of a mediation. [video]
So it's not often you can wander off during a quiet patch and encounter the rare Little Blue Penguin in the snow like I did today!
But when you mediate at The International Antarctic Centre, penguins, simulated snow storms and a bunch of other stuff are all part of the process and all serve to give the mediation a special character.
Both the US and NZ launch their annual Antarctic programmes from the centre flying the giant LC-130 "Hercules" aircraft, the faithful old workhorse of the ice, in and out over the summer months.
