DR in Second Life

This blog has posted before urging mediators to set up a Second Life mediation practice - even maybe a SL global mediation practice blog.

News this week of a Second Life E-Justice Centre including an explanatory video from Bill Warters over at Campus ADR.

The Centre provides mediation and arbitration services for avatars resident in Second Life.

I'm sorry, Geoff, but I just don't "get" this Second Life thing. I don't know about you, but I've got only so many hours in the day to accomplish all I have to do in my "primary" life. Even if you tell me I can set up shop and charge my market rate and collect real US dollars (although right now, it might be better to bill in Pounds, Euros or hell, Canadian Dollars!), I really don't get it. I prefer the company of real life, flesh and blood people. Can someone explain to me the attraction to this medium?
