Christmas giving
I've made a bit of a thing of Christmas client gifts over the years.
Last year I gave up luxurious wool socks with a card saying 'just because it's alternative, don't get cold feet'.
A Christmas before that it was telescopic hiking sticks with a note reminding the recipient that mediation '...is all in the journey... take a hike'
Somewhere in between it was a camping candle and a note urging opening statements to be 'more light than heat...'
But this year I'm going back to basics with a handwritten note thanking my clients for their much valued business. The research shows it's the most effective of the lot.
